Each pair of these earrings is a reproduction of the front and back of an actual ancient roman-era coin from Jerusalem (2000 years old). The front, called the 'obverse' of a coin, shows a cup or chalice and says 'jerusalem the holy.’ A chalice represents water and intuition, which are female elements. In Christianity, Judaism and other religions, it represents the church and shared blessings. The back (reverse) shows a pomegranate with three buds representing prosperity. Available in gold plated sterling silver. Hand made with the Lost Wax Process. Approximately 1/2” diameter.
